Any time you have the original packaging / manuals for an item, that will markedly improve its final sell price. Some times we've seen it double the price or more for collectibles. If the item has been well taken care of, that helps the price as well. The more you know of the history or uniqueness of your item, the further that will go in driving the highest final sell price. Collectors are especially interested in that kind of information. We also specialise in a variety of different items and can assist in this regard. It underscores the importance of research. Junk doesn't sell very well. One man's junk is not always another man's treasure. If it is broken, rusted out, torn, burnt, etc. then it is more likely fit for the trash bin that to be placed on sale.
